SWEATER IN MAROON
WITH CREAM & BLACK TRIM
These were knitted here in the U.K. for Rocket Originals. We have taken great care to make our sweaters as authentic as possible. Our designs are taken from original 1940's knitting patterns, and this was also knitted on a vintage mechanical knitting machine - you can't get much more authentic than that!
This is 100% acrylic and can be machine washed, it will keep its shape and won’t shrink. We've had washing instructions sewn inside just in case you're unsure. Obviously, if you prefer the old method of hand washing in soap suds etc then that's o.k. too!
This particular sweater is a typical 40's style with puff sleeves, it has a square neck and a thick rib at the bottom, and although machine knitted it does actually look as if it's been knitted (very neatly!) by hand.
We've had these knitted in bust size 32" through to 40".
