This ladies sweater is part of our knitwear range knitted here in the U.K. for Rocket Originals. We have taken great care to make them as authentic as possible, and to achieve that vintage look all our designs are taken from original 1940's knitting patterns. This particular lace-stitch design is taken from a 1945 pattern called "The Victory Jumper".

These were knitted on a vintage mechanical knitting machine, although this sweater does actually look hand knitted. 

Our only compromise on originality is the use of an acrylic mix in with the wool. This makes it easier to care for, it can be machine washed, it will keep its shape and won’t shrink (there's washing instructions sewn inside each garment).
